Thursday April 8, 2004 Years ago, I read in a housewifie magazine that a good cook can make a meal out of whatever's in the refrigerator. I looked; the main things in the refrigerator were peanut butter and catfood. I decided I wasn't that good a cook.

Today's breakfast: fried carrot and onion.

***To Steeple People thrift store and the Wedge co-op.

Among the free magazines at Steeple People was the May Consumer Reports, with an article on dangerous supplements. Several of them are sold at the Wedge.

Seen on the way back: "Xena for President" bumpersticker. I'm fairly sure she's not eligible in the US. But perhaps she's running for President of New Zealand.

Noticed: The VFW post on Lyndale between 29th and Lake bans guns.

***Meds: Feels like I do need 50 mg of the ADD med rather than just 25 mg, after all. At
least for now.

***Writing: I probably need to drop a major character and two minor ones from "Well Met...."
